    It truly is John and I'm passed 90,000Km already, but it still brings me the same enjoyment as the first day, to the point that even if I change 911, I don't think I can let this one go, I think I would regret it.

    I always trade in my current 911 when I get a new one but for the first time I don't think this will be the case, I can't get anything like this anymore.

    And don't see myself changing soon either since unfortunately right now there is nothing on the model line-up or the horizon that I would rather drive than this GTS, for a daily driver that is (would love a GT3/RS but is not  really a DD), nothing has the wonderful sound of the GTS and NA engine and snappiness of this car in the new versions. The only thing would be a GT3 Touring with 4-seats and PDK but don't have my hopes up of that happening.

    How about you John, still enjoying your GTS?

    Carlos, for what it’s worth I feel exactly the same way with our 981 Boxster GTS, at least the current 911’s still have an engine fit for a proper sports car, albeit not having the same instant non turbo-lag throttle response nor such a wonderful sounding engine as yours has Smiley

    Here is a short drone video from one of the guys of yesterday's meet and drive  driver.gif 

    Starts are the dealership which hosted a breakfast at 10pm for us, stopped for a brunch at 12 at a winery and stretch the legs. couple of stops to regroup along the way, and ends in the coastal town were we sat for a lunch that ended at 6pm. Was limited to 40 cars because otherwise it is too many cars for the route, etc.

    @ Joost, I'm not sure but it was dark colored underneath, and rectangular shaped and not to big either. The seagulls were looking at it suspiciously and making lots noises at it, thought they were going to attack it indecision

    Haha, yeah, seagulls are not really shy... I think it was a DJI Spark, considering the description and the non-fluent movements (the spark has only 2 axis gimbal, which makes rotations look really abrupt).

    Great roads, just have to look out for some sheep herds grazing by themselves, some delicious "rubia" cows or many wild horses too. But no traffic and great road conditions.

    I myself don't mind the late breakfast/lunch/dinner hours typical here, the days are so long, if you eat dinner early like at 8pm you cut your afternoon short since the sun sets at almost 10pm so eating late is good, plus I hate getting up early, but what I don't like is such looong slow lunches of over 3hrs, that kills me, I end up more tired after than if I was at the gym for 3hrs

    Bit OT but my kids got me a Mavic 2 Zoom for Father’s Day... Not sure what I will do with it but it is a pretty cool toy smiley Compact enough to travel with it probably.

    That's why I tend to avoid dinner / lunches with too many people when it is among a car activity . Kills everything Smiley

    BTW ; if you have your dinner at 7 , then you have the whole evening left to do stuff Smiley
