Super thanks for the breakdown. Some more questions
1. When you moved the revs up did you keep the engine for any given duration at the max rev range or would not exceed the revs at any point or both.
2. After the breakin period did you do an oil and filter change? I know they say 15000 but old school says change after breakin period to remove all metal bits that come off.

1. just don't cross the rpm line. no need to stay there for no reason.
2. I did oil change after 1,500kms then on track
3. yes wheel alignment because suspensions will seat in their final position and all chassis part as well as brakes, axles etc...

1. Both for me . Most important is '' changes '' . Do as less highway driving as possible . Choose back roads with lots of speed changes . If highway, then still , change your speed as often as you can , change gears as often as you can .
Don't stress the engine with driving in too low rpm and accelerating .
2. I did an oil change at 3000 km . Just to be safe even if the manual says 15k

Ok Guys I have my friend at AMG checking with a guy who works at the factory and is part of the GT3 RS program. Will let you all know what he says as well. At the moment have 100 km will drive it like a granny taking her grandchild to school for however long it takes. :-)
ZahirD:Ok thanks buddy. Also can you give me a proper breakin procedure for the engine there are some things online but don’t know how reliable they are and the manual says nothing funny enough.
I love that color!!! nice choice.
For me the best for all my cars :
KM_______MAX RPM
0-499_______ 5k
500_________5k5
700_________6k
900_________6k5
1100________7k
1300________7k5
1500________8k
1700________8k5
1900________9k

Thanks it was a bit of a chance on the colour. It looked like it would work when configuring the car on the online app. But you never know what it would really look like. I had seen a 911 at some point in London in this colour driving on the road. it’s not a very common colour for a Porsche. But on this car with the black vents and the gold rims it looks very nice. Plus the interior colour is only black as a choice so it works well with the interior.
Hi Zahir,
Welcome and what a beautiful car! I think the white/black RS looks really clean and purposeful!
Would you mind showing some pictures of the side view, so we can see the combination between the black/white and the gold rims?
Cheers,
-Joost-
Edit: PS: Do you know we have a separate dog-related thread?

Hey Joost
I My dog loves to run out as soon as he hears the garage door open. If I am not there he goes around the neighbourhood for a walk himself and comes home after an hour. Then he gets a good shouting from the Mrs who by the way is from Belgium near Maastricht. So we are neighbors as well.
Haha nice! Gotta love dogs! Nice to meet you, neighbor! :-)
Hadn't expected it , but the gold rims look really nice on the white! Thanks for posting and take care breaking it in! Can imagine it must be really difficult restraining yourself for those first couple of 1000s of kms.

First of all ZahirD Congrats to a perfect car!

ZahirD:Ok thanks. I want to drive there next summer. Not my car of course but maybe Porsche will give me one of theirs hehehe
Depending on your driving skill: How to approach the Nordschleife:
1 Study the track, video game, video, learn where the corners are and what name they have - it helps
2 Rent a slow car - Suzuki Swift is really good. Drive there when it is cold and rainy just to learn the track layout
3 When you are familiar with the track: Faster cars, coaching, track days, Scuderia Hanseat.
I'd say that after 50 laps you know the track fairly good.
You have until March April 2019 to prepare yourself :-)
Hey guys I need some help. just wanted to ask there is a loud squeak from the gearbox or axel when the car is rolling in gear in traffic without pressing the accelerator is this normal and there is a clear vibration coming feels like there is no oil in the gearbox or axel. And it’s quite loud the squeak.

I am not sure what your noise is exactly , but the car does have some ' mechanical ' noises when rolling ,or going very slowly . Not much, but some noise like metal frictions . This would be normal . In the 991.1 RS those noises where much much louder .
