..... and the separate oil tank has been sited the same place it was on the Mezger engine.

I know a lot of enthusiasts like the typical GT3-wing, but even more as in case of the 997 this thing doesn't fit the design of the 991 IMO. Something like an extractable duck-tail would be so much better...

I'm with you on that one. If an option for 4 seats and options for BOSE or Burmister were both available then I think I would be in the 100% sure its going to be my next car camp!
For me 4 seats is a sacrifice I can make, and I would be prepared to upgrade the sound system aftermarket so Im still very interested.
Trouble is I keep telling myself that I really should begin to plan to retire early and stop working just to feed my auto addiction but then things like the 991 GT3 come along and it all goes out of the window again!

same here, I guess its an image issue, they may think that if they offer it with 4 sseats that it may detract from its track tool sport image, which is stupid thinking in a car with electronic handbrake and cup holders... I don't see any other reason, because surely its not an engineering one

So in a way Porsche is going back to it's roots with the 991.
Remember the old air cooled engines? When we open the damn 'trunk' all we see is that big ass fan. With the 991 all we see is 2 small ass fans. Which, is something the 996/997 has been missing, there is no visible fans.

137k euro german price - 19% german Mwst + 8% swiss Mwst + 4% swiss import taxes leaves me around 155 k swiss francs ( 1.23 Euro/sfr), but on this the co2 swiss taxes = around 172 000 sfr for a new german gt3 instead of 190 000 sfr for a swiss car.
now if i am correct and swiss dealer give an euro discount difference may only bee 10 000 sfr or so for german Import car vs swiss car
let me know if i am calculating wrong

Think your calculating is correct. You do get a Euro-discount and with a little bit of good talking you will be pretty close to the german-import pricetag I think. At least for the Carrera (4) and Carrera (4)S models.
I guess for the GT3 it will depend on how much cars the dealerships can sell. If there's a shortage of cars compared to customers then dealerships will be a lot less freehanded with discounts.

What's with you guys and rear seats?? You already complained that the 991 rear seats didn't get large enough, and the GT3 market would get killed if it looked like a car for soccer dads... 
You need to study this Porsche equation: Rate of growth of your small children = rate of size increase of rear 911 seats x 20.
