My problems stem from cars I've bought that had stabilizer in them, and from experience with today's gas in many of my cars that sit for extended periods (6 months or longer). That's why I've moved toward race fuel, which has been flawless.

I can't "fill my tanks". The local fire inspector would have a bit of a problem with me filling 160+ cars with gas inside a building shared with 100,000 square feet of mostly card-board-packaged inventory...

I am ordered to leave no more than 5 gallons of gas in any car that is stored in my building... So a few gallons of race gas is the ticket...

I can tell you stories of cars that I parked for 7-8 years without starting, and plopped a battery in, checked fluids, and damn if it wouldn't run on the fuel in the tank!! But I wouldn't get away with that today, you can SMELL the fuel going sour in a matter of 6-8 months.

I think your policy of full-tank and "let it ride" will be fine and dandy, you won't have any problem.
