Everything you see on all those photos are ski pists in winter and in summer turns into mountain bike trails and walking trails . The resort crosses between Switzerland and France . 650 km of slopes !

So, Woody heading up his last 3000' vertical hike to the headwall, tennis ball attached. Tonight he said goodbye, and climbed further up to Heaven. 13 glorious healthy years.
A retired disaster search dog when he came to us, always a gentleman.
God Bless you So, Woody.
On the banks of the Big Wood River, now called the So, Woody River
So, Woody ridges out for the last time.

So sorry to hear that...
I'm sure he lived a good life in your family.

Thank you to all his Rennteam friends! Healthy until the last few days dying - we can all hope for that - to be on the track, ridging out, then going to Heaven quickly and painlessly.
He got one last cruise in the GT2RS - no photo as he lost 15 lbs in the last week
Atop the Headwall, So, Woody at 13 years, strong then gone.

JoeRockhead:Isn’t the Grizz country Watt? A hand held peashooter isn’t much protection, do you carry spray?
Haha Joe,
A major benefit of NOT being in/near the Tetons... is NO GRIZZ! Such a relief every day to not be: carrying an 870 12 gauge with forged Dixie Slugs [which will penetrate a Grizz skull] or a .45-70 lever action with 540 grain Garrett Hammerheads for Grizz, and finger ready every time you pass through the fens or berry bushes... Nerve wracking.
Here I carry a 10 mm handgun as the apex predator is the cougar [and black bears and wolves], but your main risk is a moose charge. In this lonely canyon, we are friends with 3 moose: a massive, giant, huge racked bull, and 2 youngsters. The Labs obey and just watch, and we've established a relationship where they seem to know we're not a threat.... so far
Youngster in the willow fens, avalanche mess behind, checking us out from 50 feet:
Amazing scenery Watt, I should send Umlaut your way to let him experience proper nature!

Umlaut!!!! The Poodles were just talking about you! They watched a lap your Daddy did at the Ring in the green monster, and were realising Porsches are good on the road, but hopeless where low range is needed for 5 miles.... and even sometimes you have to park El Yeep!
