Cayenne Transsyberia

I heard that they may do a limited run of these cars for the USA in 2009. Any truth to that rumor?

I would like one with the standard interior...Just all the offroad/rally mechanicals and the ability to load up the family. Does anyone have a Transsyberia in Southern California available for viewing or sale?

Yes is right,and will be on sale also in Europe,etc.
don't know yet specs unfortunately

Any new info on the model yet in the "underground"?

Also curious about the upper arms used on the race version, anyone have an "electronic parts catalog" for the cayenne? I'm looking for the part numbers for the 04-06, 08+ and a possible part number for the race version upper arms.

None of these will probably ever see a dirt road except during inevitable launch-time charades...

Surely most will be paraded up and down a high street by chavs with too much gold jewelery.

I bought my Cayenne S 2004 used, 3 weeks ago, and 3 weekends I have taken it off road, pretty impressive, on the technical sections and on the gravel roads its like a rally car, the air suspension is awesome.
My tires are beat up already with big cuts in the thread and sides , they are ruined.
Already ordered the BF Goodrich they use in the Rally.
I also had planned putting the roof lights, and black trim.

I see most Cayennes are modded for road , to look like an sports car 911ish, I like the other look.
Although its great fun in the twisties , its even more fun in the dirt.

I think is good they did it.
Some day I will buy one of this and use it for what it is.

BTW, I would be pretty annoyed if the CS transsybera is being delivered with the Alcantara seats (GTS) as they told me "no chance" buying my top sec CTT
