Welcome to the world of porsche. My car was showing "in production" for the last 4 weeks with a completition date of 4/16 - found out yesterday that it has been pushed back to 4/30.
As far as getting on a boat i've heard everything from 3 days to 4-5 weeks. There are a few others here that are also waiting for a boat. 10-14 days to cross to the EAST coast. You'll have to add a week or so. Someone who lives in the west will chip in i'm sure.

C4S in a couple of weeks or less you should have your car. The computer isn't always up to date. FWIW, my dealer could not give me the ship name either. I had to find out from another member who's car was picked up at the same time. Today its sitting on a lot at Port Hueneme waiting to be delivered to my dealer. Guess how I found this out? It sure wasn't from my dealer! Thanks for the info colm, your email made my day!

Long Beach is very close to Port Hueneme, you could get your car a day or two after it arrives at the port.

I thought they went into San Diego. I know my M3 went through Port Hueneme, but I was under the impression Porsche went into SD. can someone confirm?
Long Beach is very close to Port Hueneme, you could get your car a day or two after it arrives at the port.

I can only vouch for myself. Mine arrived at Port Hueneme (which is super close to you). Others might dock in San Diego I am not sure. My 2002 M3 also arrived in port Hueneme. I just found out that my car is en route to my dealer so it won't be long. Transit time to the West Coast from Europe was 23 days, thats impressive! Must have been favorable seas without too many drop off points along the way.

Except that Porsches hitch a ride with Audis and VWs and some of their ships take the scenic route and may stop in the east coast and may pcikup more cars in Mexico and then land in San Diego. I would expect it the last week of May.
