    I read this after enduring a brief 45 minutes drive in the first snowstorm of the season.   Weather conditions are a bit similar with snow falling at a rate of 4 inches per hour-lake effect snow-and winds gusting to around 50 mph.  I remain amazed at the number of drivers that rush to purchase large SUVs and crossovers but spend little effort acclimating themselves to learning how to properly drive them.  This morning most drivers were traveling well below the speed limit punctuated with someone at the edge of control in their Suburban or Escalade.  Lincolns, however, are no longer part of the scene in this part of the woods. 

    I’m glad your trip was relatively uneventful beyond an early wake-up call.
