G63 AMG 4x4
The End of a Short Relationship. In April 2023, I took delivery of my G63 AMG 4x4 at the Sindelfingen Center of Excellence. Initially, the excitement was immense, but it quickly faded. After just a few days, I lost interest in what I considered to be the most pointless vehicle.
Additionally, there were organizational issues. The G-Class didn't fit in my garage - the vehicle is simply too tall with its construction. It also wouldn't fit in any underground garage in Stuttgart. No matter where I tried to park the car, I encountered problems. On the street, you can only park for a maximum of 60 or 120 minutes in the city, which is not suitable for dinners or shopping trips.
To top it all off, about 1-2 months ago, the vehicle was officially decommissioned by the Federal Motor Transport Authority and Mercedes. The operating license was revoked due to major issues with the rear axle.
So, the time has come to say goodbye. It looks like I'll be unwinding the deal and returning the vehicle to Mercedes at the end of the month in exchange for a full refund of the purchase price.
What a stroke of luck - with that money, one can buy much better vehicles.
